Piping Rock is looking for an eager and energetic Product Marketing Coordinator (Private Label team) to join our growing Wholesale Marketing Department. This individual will be in a supportive roll, helping to grow the private label business. The successful candidate will be outgoing and focused with the both the ability to collaborate in a team as well as to work and thrive individually.

Roles & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist Private Label brand managers across multiple store brands including but not limited to product launches, product maintenance, and new product development

• Managing day to day projects under the guidance of the brand manager to successfully launch new products by being responsible for retailer portal maintenance, compiling quality documentation, internal/external data entry for product set ups and additional projects as given by the Brand Manager

• Responsible for the management and ownership of Store Brand Price Lists, Specifications, New Item Set Up, Product Maintenance, Product Samples & Product Reformulations

• Responsible for the in-house product sample process. Process includes managing sample requests by compiling bottles, caps, labels and/or any unique components to build a product sample to present to a retailer

• Responsible for Product Reformulations within respective brands; track timelines, work with manufacturing, update system files, update labels and communicate formula changes to retailers

• Assist Brand Manager in Store Brand Bid process across multiple brands by completing bid documentation/workbooks while working cross functionally with Regulatory, Art and Purchasing departments as well as the Lab. This includes but not limited to assisting in developing product pricing, researching claims, and requesting substantiation documents, internal testing documents, as well as working on artwork/label ideation

• Assist in aspects of Cost of Good Reports, Margin analysis, SKU Analysis, Competitive Analysis

• Assist in writing and creating presentations to support specific initiatives for new product launches, product reformulations, and/or label updates

• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Advanced Power Point and Excel skills is a plus
• 1-3 years in marketing role or past internships
• Experience in planning, delivering, and measuring results of a product launch.
• Willing to take initiative as well as being a highly motivated enthusiastic individual.
• Ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines while remaining flexible and be able to pivot when priorities change.
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Attention to detail, resourceful, with a can-do attitude
